Early Conectiv units do not have a serial number sticker on the box or unit itself. If you do not have a serial number sticker, or are having difficulty identifying your serial number, please contact Avid/M-Audio support for assistance with completing the upgrade process.
It is not recommended to download drivers from sites which distribute a keygens, key generators, pirate keys, serial numbers, warez full versions or cracks forM-Audio Torq 1.5.2. These drivers might corrupt your computer installation or breach your privacy.A driver might contain a trojan horse opening a backdoor on your computer.

Any news on a new interface or an updated Xponent, though, Giz? subject On January 13, 2011, DIGI16V said this:Wonder if you can scratch better with it.Still holding on to my old Torq - will have to give the demo a try since its only 50 bucks to upgrade If I like it. NOW THATS A BARGAIN!! subject On January 13, 2011, telemitry said this:Ive been a long time Torq fan...seduced last year by the NS7 but after using both ITCH and Torq, was far more impressed with TORQ. Having 4 decks and the ability to use what Avid's website says as outside controllers like the Numark decks is a big uopdate. I'd love to see an updated Xponent like DJmarshy as well, but there are some pretty sexy decks out there already. if we can use those with the rock solid Torq platform....this is a big Namm. subject On January 13, 2011, Jerry said this:Looks like they addressed most of the complaints and added some new stuff as well. Well done. Time to pull out my old torq box (oh wait...i don't have to) and give it a whirl. If it still uses TDQ files, then an upgrade is a no-brainer since at least 80% of my whole library has been analyzed and has cue points set in the old Torq. subject On January 13, 2011, K-Sea - Compound Faction said this:Torq has always been the best. It just has, but we're here with open arms. Torq loyalists are jolly good people so we won't laugh at you for finally getting the point. We don't bicker and fight like we've seen in the other forums. So come on in :-)FYI there has never been a trial period for Torq. subject On January 13, 2011, deco said this:yeah i'm kinda bummed that i sold my torq serial number.this looks pretty decent - i never did like the tqd files tho. tpro is nice too - I certainly won't leave NI for this update. texttextBUT texttext NI should note that this 2.0 update is FREE. as was Torq's 1.5 version. in the spirit of 10 successful years, i hope NI shows their gratitude to their customers (who they owe their success to) by making the future TPRO update free as well. subject On January 13, 2011, sinjintek said this:jeez, where'd all the Torq fans just appear from?? i've always been curious myself, even almost took the plunge when i saw the kits drop in price...and i was also curious if it went defunct once it seemingly dropped from the face of the earth.now i just wish i had at least one torq vinyl to use with this trial... subject On January 13, 2011, Sage said this:It looks like they addressed practically every wishlist item Torq users had. Amazing.Hopefully they managed to do it and keepit stable. subject On January 13, 2011, sickman2o0o said this: =D27iWk2iKFg subject On January 13, 2011, DECO said this:my bad - $50 upgrade fee for ppl who bought an xponent or conectiv BEFORE today. Free update to 2.0 if you buy hardware Today. still hope for free update of Tpro (even though everyone on the NI forum is crackin jokes about how unrealistic it is to expect it). subject On January 13, 2011, j_kut said this:lawsuit incoming....the credits folder to the torq-tracks is empty But torq2 itself if running fine subject On January 13, 2011, DJ Boy Wonder said this:quote:"Looks like a fantastic piece of kit that might win me back. Any news on a new interface or an updated Xponent, though, Giz?" I was a tester for Torq 2 and I was asked for my opinion on what features I would like to see on an updated Xponent. There's not going to be an updated Xponent at NAMM but if you ask me it's in the planning stages. subject On January 13, 2011, BPK said this:it lists NS7 as compatible controller.. I hope it supports a pair of V7 decks... one of us should try Torq 2.0 and see if hooking up two V7s individually using 2 USB ports will make 4 decks set up work? subject On January 13, 2011, bedouin said this:I got Torq with the Connectiv new for $220 or so a year ago. You can't beat that.I bought mine strictly for the audio interface to use with xwax. Now that Torq seems to have low enough latency for scratching it may be time to revisit what was otherwise a pretty awesome DVS. subject On January 13, 2011, alexd said this:Interested in checking this out with my s4. Anyone know if a mapping exists? subject On January 13, 2011, DJ Demand said this:quote:" On January 13, 2011, BPK commented...it lists NS7 as compatible controller.. I'm really hoping that they do or will support the V7's as well. It was the ONLY thing stopping me from using Torq. Still have a connectiv box just to play with Torq from time to time. subject On January 13, 2011, BPK said this:I liked Torq, it was ugly but worked pretty damn well. For now, I won't touch VDJ with a ten foot pole, not just yet. Hopefully Torq can offer features Itch isn't willing to or designed to. I just want some options... options to attach another MIDI controller like midi fighter or even X1 and map it for features that wouldnt have buttons or knobs mapped on the V7s... or Serato can just silence us by releasing Itch 2.0 with some real meaningful updates. subject On January 14, 2011, Alan D. said this: =fka0ZItyNHs subject On January 14, 2011, jack said this:not being a fanboy or anything, but i like the look of the new traktor a lot more. this looks like there is too much clutter on the screen at once,. but who knows, its all personal preference in the end subject On January 14, 2011, Grizu said this: -ak-snc6/hs060.snc6/169018_191979257481673_154052387941027_766872_804847_n.jpgThis is what Torq 2.0 looks if you clean it up and hide the sampler and mixer for use with Turntables in external mode.Maybe you need to log in at facebook so you can see the picture.Improoved new Relative Mode (Absolute and the old still available in the options) rocks. No stickerdrift anymore! subject On January 14, 2011, corporation said this:tried it with the NS7 for about 10 minutes.the scratch performance is great, looping seems to be wonky and setting cue points from the unit doesn't seem to be possible... (I could just be inept)May make me change my mind about the NS7 (I didn't like itch)... I wonder if I'll be able to buy a software only version? subject On January 14, 2011, amp3 said this:That is one of the major selling points, that you can just buy the software ($50) and play it on your own midi device. The cue points are just right/control clicking on the function and then hitting the button on your midi device to program it in. I have been playing with the demo and love it. Great upgrade from where we were with 1.5. subject On January 14, 2011, corporation said this:Unfortunately I see only the upgrade listed at $50.The full version is listed @ $250. =307141508283504 subject On January 14, 2011, Dj Shark said this:So If Im reading right can I use my sl3.I used to use torq but switched over to serato because of the power/ground issue's subject On January 14, 2011, Grizu said this:Using other interfaces with Torq has been possible since day one.You just don't need any M-Audio hardware to start the programm anymore with the new version of the software. Since there are drivers available for the SL-3 you should be able to use it if you want.I'm rockin' Torq with my NI Audio8DJ for more than a year now and love it. We all know the Conectiv was only a oversized dongle subject On January 14, 2011, soulDeez said this:quote:"Using other interfaces with Torq has been possible since day one." As far as controllers went, everything was mappable except for waveform control via jogwheel. Only the Xponent worked for that (I believe it was because it sent a funky proprietary signal to control it), which turned off a lot of people.I did like the fact that I could route the audio signal out through my laptop's speakers for when I just wanted to mess around. subject On February 19, 2011, DJ Melodic Notes said this:I have been an avid M-Audio Torq user since it first came out. I do like the new and improved Avid version of this software. However, the bugs have not yet been worked out of it yet and i would not recommend switching over from Torq 1.5.2/3 yet. The playlist retrieves songs noticably faster, yes Midi Mapping is available, and the add to crate feature is grate. The Main issue is that the program freezes after a certain amount of play time in Hybrid stand alone configurations. I have not tried it yet in CD or Vinyl control configs yet.Once the program locks out, you must restart your computer to get 2.0 or 1.5 to work again. Avid desperately needs to work out a fix for this. www.Melodicnotes.com 2ff7e9595c
